Article 1.

The Hong Kong Government's fixed station commercial radio-
electric services and the Company's radio-electric services
shall be worked jointly from the

until the Company has established its own offices and
stations in the Colony.
Article 2.
During the period covered by this transition Agreement the
Hong Kong Government's Chief Electrical Engineer shall act as Manager and Superintending Engineer of the Imperial &
International Communications Company's Radio Services in the
Colony in addition to his other duties. Half of the sterling
salary paid to him by the Government shall be repaid to the
Government by the Company which shall also pay to the
Government an additional sum equivalent to 12 per cent of
such half-salary as a contribution towards his pension.
Article 3.
The said Manager and Superintending Engineer shall receive
his instructions as regards all matters concerning the services
of the Company through the Company's nominee for such purpose,
and failing such nomination through the Superintendent of the
Hong Kong office of the Eastern Extension, Australasia and
China Telegraph Company Limited.
